Which platforms does StreamBuddy support?
TikTok LIVE and Twitch, connected at the same time. Chat, gifts, follows, subs, channel-point redemptions, and raids merge into one feed and one set of overlays.
Is it free?
Free while we're in beta — and the core toolkit (overlays, local TTS, sound alerts, engagement) stays free at launch. Pro ($15/mo) raises limits and unlocks automations, custom economies, premium themes, and the remaining overlay types.
How do overlays work?
Every overlay is a URL. Paste it into OBS, TikTok LIVE Studio, or any broadcasting tool as a Browser Source and it updates live — no plugins, no imports.
Do I need the desktop app?
For TTS playback, global hotkeys, popout windows, and OBS/Minecraft control — yes (Windows). Overlays, alerts, the soundboard, and the full dashboard run in any browser.
Does TTS cost extra?
No. StreamBuddy synthesizes voices on your own machine, so there's no per-message limit and no credits — a structural difference from cloud TTS tools. Optional server-side generation is a Pro feature.
